Medium desperately needs to get rid of the algorithmic feed and just make the front page the reverse-chronological feed of stories by followed people & publications again.

One time, somebody from Medium emailed me & said they’d give me $50 for an interview about what sucks about Medium, and I should have told them that, but they wanted to use skype and do it during business hours so I ignored the email. And now I could really use that $50 too. Moral of the story: if somebody is willing to pay you to complain, DO IT. Even if they don’t take your advice, nobody can accuse you of aiding and abetting the enemy.
