It used to be! I understand why they aren’t doing it as the sole page — new users who don’t follow anybody will have a hard time discovering any posts at all — but recommendations used to be a page you went intentionally & the default used to be LIFO of followed accounts’ posts. Not only is that no longer the default experience, but it literally doesn’t exist anymore: even ‘new in network’ is algorithmic & doesn’t reliably limit itself to new *or* to in-network.
